The landscape will fascinate us.

4th day: Baglidere (White Valley), Uchisar Castle, Güvercinlik (Pigeon Valley)

After Baglidere (White Valley) we hike up to Uchisar Castle, the highest point in this region. We climb the stairs because the panoramic view from above is unique. From up here we have a view of almost all hiking stages in the region and, if the weather is good, even up to Erciyes Mountain, the highest mountain in the area. Then we hike through Uchisar and down to the Tauben Valley and through the Tauben Valley back to Göreme.

Ortahisar is the second highest elevation in the region after Uçhisar, both of which are riddled with many rooms and chambers like Swiss cheese. Today's hike takes us over dirt roads and paths through the Gomeda Valley, which is known for its multi-storey dovecotes, to our hotel in Mustafapasa, which was called Sinasos in Greek times. 2x overnight stays in the cave hotel in Mustafapaşa (Sinasos).

Where in Christian times the population of Mustafapasa, "Sinasos" celebrated the birth of Mother Mary and Easter. You can visit the abandoned cave dwellings there. The connecting tunnel to the Gomeda Valley has partially collapsed and can therefore not be walked on, but there are still some tunnels and underground apartments to be discovered.
