The eruptions of the volcanoes Hasan Dagi and Erciyes Dagi formed the landscapes of Cappadocia in thousands of years. In the early Christian times, many churches were built in the valleys, which were created by erosion. Almost in each valley, there are several rock and cave churches. You hike in the green valleys of this barren landscape. The witnesses of the past line your path. Several refreshments, mostly at beautiful viewpoints, invites you to a cool drink. Visit the Göreme open-air museum (Unesco Cultural Heritage Site) during the hike. Would you like to see Cappadocia from above? So join an early morning hot air balloon ride in Göreme and enjoy the sunrise at this fairytale landscape from above. In the evening after the hike, it is worth to enjoy the house wines of Cappadocia.
