Erzincan is a city, located directly on the Silk Road, unfortunately in the last centuries by earthquakes the city was destroyed, therefore, we have the impression that the city was newly built now. What the earthquake did to city, fortunately not happen to pristine mountains around Ercincan. Erzincan lies at 1.200 m height and rugged and magnificent mountains surrounded the city like a wall. Munzur mountain range, steep and around a dozen summit over 3.000 meters and Kesisleme Mountains in the north and reaches to 3.500 m. The Winters are very cold and snowy so snow conditions give us the opportunity to ski until the end of April and tour appeals to every ones taste ranging between steep and high ascends and deep valleys to less steep slopes.
