This trekking tour which follows east part of Lycian peninsula offer much more than a trekking tour with its ancient cities which lies by beatiful coast of Mediterianen, charming villages on the skirts of Taurus mountains . The route is a long distance walking route of 509 km and it is voted in the best 10 trekking routes of the world.
Alexander the Great passed from this area when he made the big campaign to the east and he fell in love with the area  and spend a winter here.You will enjoy scenery of the Olympos national park, which, ancient remains of Olympos city, a river and and a beatiful beach nest together with hormony. In these days route route dense forest will hide you from the sun and you will warm up with the naturally burning Eternal Flames at Cirali.
Lycian way climbs over the saddle of Mt Tahtali, the beatifully stiuated mountain behind the coast and its summit with 2.366 m height offer great view and summit climb is optional. Lycian way have more to offer when you pass pastoral villages of Taurus mountain and you pass idyllic beaches which turtles nest and at the end you reach to the Gelidonia light house which is one of the highlights of the all route.

Tour itinary:

1st day: Flight to Antalya
Meeting you at the Antalya airport and transfer to the hotel in the city center. In the evening there will be short briefing and our guide will give you information about the tour.

2nd day: Göynük to Göynük Yaylasi
After 45 minutes driving to Goynuk district of Antalya we will start walking from the foot of Goynuk canyon. In the first days walk gigantic pine threes company us in pineforest and we will pass a mountains shoulder. Then we will descend to canyon and cross the river before we start ascending to the Goynuk Summer village. This is  our todays destination with its 800 mt height above the canyon. Walks takes aproximetly 6 hours, total 12 km, ascend + 650 m and descend 300 m

3rd day: Yaylakuzdere - saddle of Mt. Tahtali
After a short drive we arrive to the village Yaylakuzdere where we visit a family shortly before starting. We start to walk up first in pine trees and carry on in huge cedar forests until we reach to the saddle of Mt Tahtali with a wide flat on it at the altitude of 1.850 m. After have lunch break here we will be going down now to another village called Beycik, where our coach is waiting to transfer us to the beautiful, quite beach of Adrasan. We´ll stay here in the hotel for the next 3 days. Walks takes aproximetly 6 hours, total 17 km, ascend + 850 m and descend 900m.

4th day: Ulupinar - Olympos Beach through Chimeara flames
From the mountains to the coast ! We are starting in the village Ulupinar. We are ascending to a ridge, where we have a great view to the bay of Cirali. We will see also the uper flames of Chimeara here. Then we start descending from a steep downhill  and get to the lower flames beside the ruins of a church from the Byzanthean time period. After having a rest here we are walking further to the wonderful beach of Olympos. After having a swimming break here we visit the ruins of the antique Lycian city Olympos.
Walks takes aproximetly 4,5 hours, total 10 km, ascend + 200 m and descend 400m.

5th day: Relaxing day
This is free for relaxing. There is a swimming pool in the hotel or you can spend time at the beautiful beach of Adrasan. Depends on the number of participants if  the big part of the group want, optional ascend can be made to Mt Tahtali which is 2.366 mt high. It will take 7 hours and it will be a long, 1.350 m of  ascend. This walk cost is extra.

6th day: Olympos - Adrasan
We start walking between green housed of Adrasan after 10 minutes driving. First part of walk follow a narrow path in the pine forrest and mostly ascending. After reaching the shepperd cottages with beatiful view of the valley and more greenhouses we descend following dense forrest and among the mediterranean strawberry trees. The route ends in the necropolis of Olympos ancient city and we have time to enjoy a cold drink in one of the bongalow cafes. 5 hours walking, 12 km, elevation is + 600 m / -600 m

7th day: Adrasan - Gelidonia Lighthouse 
Todays walk is one of the most beatiful walks of all trail. It start inside a pineforest, little behind the hotel. During day, most of the time steep slopes to the Mediternanean will be on our one side and skirts of Tours mountains on the other side. The firs gleance of the Gelidonia lighthouse is enchanting and the view from the lighthouse at the break time is great. This cape was very important and  the most feared cape of time in ancient times. Today many sunken ship lies under the sea there and they were subject to the first undersea archaeological  excavation of the world. End of the day, return to the hotel by 45 minutes driving. 6-7 hours walking, 17 km, +400 / -300 m

8th day: Flight home
After having a breakfast in our lovely hotel, we will take you to the airport with 1,5 hours transfer and flight back home.
