We guess you have ever gave a thought of a skiing holiday in Turkey before! But this can be real skiing adventure of sking at untouched wild mountains and exploring the Turkish culture and taste the delicious traditonal food together in one tour. Our tours take you to the mountain ranges which surround eastern city Erzurum, like a snow walls. We stay in the city center of Erzurum which located at altitute of 1.850 m and with 30 - 45 minutes minibus transfers we reach to the villages on the skirts of the mountains that are around 3.000 m and more. Then the adventure starts! Put on skies and mountains, snow and hopefully sun will embrace you..!
Erzurum is the city which next olympic games of universities will take place here at 2011, due to its good powder snow quality. You will have free time in the afternoons and going to Turkish bath (hamam) or 2-3 hours sightseeing tour will be possibilitiy.

Tour itinary:

1st day: Flight to Istanbul
Transfer to the hotel in Sultanahmet which is the heart of Istanbul famous with old historical places such as Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Yerebatan cistern. Depends on the flight time you can walk in Sultanahmet and see these above places.

2nd day: Domestic flight to Erzurum
Transfer to the airport, further flight to Erzurum. Transfer to the hotel in the city centre.

3rd day: Skitour Mt. Karaya
After the breakfast we are starting from the last village beneath the mountain Karakaya 3.100 m. Directly in the village we are stepping to our skies and ascending 3 hours to the summit. Skiing downhill to the same village and transfer to the hotel. The ascend is approx. 1.000 m. The steepness of the moutain is around 25° - 30°.

4th day: Skitour Mt. Egerli
Less than half an hour transfer to the village below the Mt. Egerli (3.050 m). We start ascending from here around 1.000 m to the summit of Egerli, then ski downhill with slopes of 25° - 30° to the village back. Transfer to the hotel.

5th day: Mt. Mescittepe
Around 45 minutes drive by minibus to the village Kosk on 1.850 m. The ascend takes 1.200 m, 3 - 4 hours to the summit. After skiing on wide slopes around 1 hours we reach the village. Our minibus will take us to our hotel.

6th day: Skitour Mt. Ortuzu Tepe
Next mountain is Ortuzu Tepe, which is 45 minutes distanced to the city. The ascend starts from around 1.800 m and will be around 1.200 m. Sking back will be great, on downhill and mostly on powder snow. Transfer back to hotel.

7th day: Skitour Mt. Akdag
Today our mountain is Akdag (2.950 m) which means white mountain. Transfer takes a little more than half an hour. The ascend begins from 1.900 m and takes 3 - 4 hours to the summit. Transfer back to hotel.

8th day: Flight home
Transfer to the airport, flight to Istanbul and flight back to home.
