Our new program combines the trekking in Lycian way in the day times and board on a boat in the afternoons and
overnight in the boat during all tour. We will walk in the area which mountains rise sheer by the sea. You will enjoy
exploring landscapes, ancient cities and pure, vivid blue sea from the land day time by walking alongside the coast and in
the evenings from the boat by watching these marvellous land.

Tour itinary:
1st day: Arrive to Dalaman
We meet you in the airport and transport to your tour boat in Fethiye coast. Overnight in the boat.
2nd day: Blue cruise between Fethiye bays
We start the tour softly and first day we are in the sea all day. We see the amazing bays of Fethiye, which the famous Oludeniz bay also in them. We will stop and enjoy the swimming at pure blue seas and heavenly bays. Overnight in the boat.
3rd day: Ovacik - Kabak Bay
First walk starts from Ovacik, just above the famous bay of Ölüdeniz. In the morning we leave the boat at Oludeniz and start walking from the actual starting point of Lycian Way Trail. During the walk we experience Babadag's great view on the left and on the rightside the vivid seascappes of Oludeniz bay. The trek will finish in Kabak bay and we board on the boat in Kabak. If you like you can have swimming break before you get on board or after get on the boat: You decide! Our boat is anchor at Kabak bay.
4th day: Kabak bay - Sancakli Bay via Alinca
Today we leave our boat in Kabak bay and we start walking where we finish in previous day, just over "Mama's restaurant ". Kabak is a farmer village which is set above the beach. Our route starts ascending across the ridge of Kabak village and continues alongside of the bay to the village Alinca with an old path in forest and terraced fields. The wiev on the right will be breathtaking and behind the strawberry trees the sea will blink us. We will have a short drink break in Alinca village and after passing Burguncuk bay will go on to Sancakli bay where our boat await for us. After we board, our gullet will get up the anchor and sail towards to Limanagzi bay for anchoring again. We overnight at the boat in Limanagzi bay.
5th day: Limanagzi - Kormen Island
We wake up to a nice morning on board and after breakfast, we get out of the boat in Limanagzi and start walking...Our route today starts between cultivated fields and follows cliffs and stony beaches. After passing a goat keepers hut, path heads to sea edge and passes wave worn limestone slabs. We pass small beaches like "Çoban Plaji" (shepperd's beach) and a-few houses in Karabelen village then turn to the sea again. When we reach to the coast we see a Roman Tower which seems like the grey wings of a huge butterfly folded over the forrest on the hillside ahead. After we explore the ruins we will get on the boat and overnight in the bay. Walking takes around 5 - 6 hours.
6th day: Kormen Island - Sicak Peninsula
We get up in the bay we anchored last night and leave the gullet after breakfast. In the begining of the day our walk will be all uphill until we pass a cistern and reached a wide track/road. Today our route passes two ancient Lycian cities Apollonia and coastal city Aperlai. Apollania includes Hellenistic theatre but overgrown and hidden unfortunately, a church and a cistern. What is still clear and worth the see is necropolis and thums and a Roman sarcophagus...The route continues with a steep descent to ruins of Aperlai. After exploring Aperlai ruins we go on in coastal path until Sicak peninsula where we may have drink or swimming break before we board on to out gullet. Our gullet is anchoring in Sicak peninsula. Walking takes around 5 - 6 hours.
7th day: Sicak Peninsula - Simena Castle
Today is our last walking day! We will walk from Sicak peninsula to Simena castle which is built on Ucagiz harbour, enchanting, together with a theatre and many Roman or Lycian thombs around it. Our route today passes olive trea fields and some unoccupied stone houses and follows the seaside path until the and. Some places seaside path is like a labyrinth with two side are covered one meter natural stone wall.
8th day: Fly Back home
Today we have 3,5 hours transfer to Dalaman airport and fly back home. |
