Difficulty levels of our tours
|
When we describe the difficulty degrees we consider walking distance and altitute diffirence which done in one day. When we say walking distance we mean "net distance" without break times. We accept that normally in an hour, in a flat road 4 km can be walked. Altitude diffirences are shown as (+) and (-) and we accept that in an hour a normal person can ascend 300 m and descend 500 m. These inputs are given approximetly and it may change according to groups phase / conditions. In addition the wheather conditions and type of the landscapes and the ground you walk on.

We can describe this level as easy / moderate level. The walkings in a day 4 - 5 hours and ascends cannot be more than 400 m, descends can be more. This kind walking tours are for those
who are in normal conditions. |

Again we can describe this kind tours as moderate level walkings. In this tours walking hours are 5 hours but ascends are between 400 - 600 m. For those people who are in normal condition and have a level of trekking experiences. |

Moderate level walkings but, includes 6 hours walkings and ascends can be up to 1.000 m. These tours are for those who are in good condition and have some trekking experience. These tours may include some less difficulty walking days, too. |

A little difficult than category "2 - 3" walking tours , includes 7 hours walking and ascends can be more than 1.000 m in a day. These tours are for those people who has a good pysical condition, good balance and has previous walking experience. |

This category can be described very much like "3" but the category 3 - 4 tours includes trekkings at
high altitude, like above 5.000 m and high altitude trekking experience are neccessary. |

These tours can be described in really difficult category. Only those people who are in very good conditions and have long experience can join these tours. The participants must be able to walk in high altitude (above 5.000 m) and ascend more than 1.000 m altitute differences daily. |

These tours are for the people who have experience in the "category 4". In additions to category "4" requirements, the participants need to have knowledge and experience of ice climbing and technical equipment such as ice axe and crampons and rope. |
