Tour itinary:

1st day:  Arrival to Istanbul
Transfer to Hotel in Sultan Ahmet which is the heart of Istanbul famous with old historical places such as Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Yerebatan cistern. Depending on the flight time you can walk in Sultanahmet and see these places.

2nd day: Flight to Van
After a short transfer to the airport domestic flight to Van, transfer to the hotel in the city centre. In the afternoon h alf day boat tour to Akdamar Island which is famous with Armenian church dated X.century. The church covered with marvellous stonework reliefs from the Bible stories. We are staying in the hotel in Van, which stated at 1.720 m above sea level.

3rd day: Dogubayazit
Today we pass by 3 hours transfer to Dogubayazit which is the nearst town to Mt Ararat.On the way we rest at Muradiye waterfall. In Dogubayazit  we check in our hotel and and in the afternoon last preparations for the climb.

4th day: Dogubayazit - Basecamp (2.800 m)
After breakfast driving around 30 min by minubus to the last houses on the mountain, Eli village. From here the luggage will be carried on horses and we will be carrying day pack. Depending on snow conditions ascend will be by ski to  base camp on 2.800 m. Overnight in tents.

5th day: Upper camp, descending to base camp
For acclimatising we are ascending up to 4.300 m and skiing downhill to the base camp. Overnight in the base camp.

6th day: Hig Camp
After breakfast we ascend to the upper camp. It takes approx. 3 hours to the upper camp which is located on 3.750 m. We have an early dinner and go to sleep early because the other day will be summit day. Overnight in tents at the upper camp.

7th day: Summit day, 5.137 m
Waking up at 03.00 a.m. for the early berakfast and starting to ascend to the summit, to the highest summit of Turkey by ski. If the snow conditions are good, we are ascending till the summit with skies. After watching the panaromic view around the summit which we will be seeing Anatolian high plataeu from the top and see Armenia and Iran lands far behind Turkey border we start skiing downhill to the high camp for a break and eat something, then we carry on to the base camp. Overnight in tents in the base camp.

8th day: Descending to Dogubayazit or reserve day for the summit
In the morning after a good breakfast we descend to Eli village. The way down takes 3 hours by footh. If the snow is good, skiing downhil will be 45 minutes and our minubus will take us to Dogubayazit, to our hotel. If the weather was not good at previous day we use this day as second try for the summit.

9th day: Cultural trip around Dogubayazit
Late in the morning trip to the official "Noahs´ Ark", passing villages and visiting the Ishak Pasa Palace. Overnight in he hotel in Dogubayazit.

10th day: Flight home
Early transfer to Van Airport will take around 3 hours and domestic flight to Istanbul and further to your country.
