Phellos Travel Agency is a full service travel company, holding A-class licence from the Turkish Ministry of Tourism and is a member of TURSAB (Association of Turkish Travel Agencies). Phellos Travel Agency was founded in 1994 and is located in Antalya which know as tourism  center of Turkey. Since begining we always looked for new opportunities to offer for our clients and we reached a variety of services. Outdoor department is only one of them and very succesfull of one.

Outdoor Department
Phellos Travel  has been the country's foremost outdoor adventure provider for over a decade. Founded in 1998, as outdoor department today we still maintain our original goal: to mix the beauty of the Turkish nature with the overwhelming hospitality and generosity of the local people.
Much of Turkey remains unexplored by foreign visitors and its wild nature makes it a paradise for mountainers, trekkers and adventurers. From the  magnificent peaks of the Taurus Mountains to the spectacular coastline of the Lycian Way, and from the father of the mountains of all, Mt Ararat to green valleys of Kackar Mt range Turkey's natural beauty is breathtaking.
We believe we stand out from competitors because of our local knowledge, gleaned from the villagers we met during our tours. These people become our firm friends and they will no doubt  wellcome you when we visit their tiny villages. The warm welcome we receive everywhere is a unique and heart - warming part of a trip in our tours.

Achivements
We have chosen " giving high quality service" as first principle from the beginning. As a result of this principle we have been a leading outdoor company in Turkey. Since the year 2002, we took 1.500 people to the Mt Ararat with our tours and 1.200 of them enjoyed standing at the top of it. 

We may be counted as initiatory for ski touring in Turkey. We first started ski touring on Mt. Ararat, then carried it to the other parts of Turkey such as Aladaglar Range or to Kackar Mt Range. Our guides, who speak fluently English or German, educated and expericenced in mountainering and ski touring and they are higly motivated. They are very happy to take you in to new experiences in Turkey and solving any problem you come across in lands of this eastern and western country. They have all necessary out-fit and gear.

We do trekking and hiking tours to all parts of Turkey. We do tours on Mt Taurus such as "The Lycian way " which was voted one of the world's top ten walks, St Paul ways, or our own discovered routes on East part of Taurus mountain. All of these routes come across some where with magnificent historical places and antic cities so you also will be able to explore some Anatolian history while you walking at the skirt of Mt Taurus or Mt Ararat.

Hiking tours to Kaçkar, which we may call it as "Turkish Alps" with its beauty and high peaks range or to Mt Aladaglar with magnicifent rock peaks, long rock walls and high deep valleys will take you the unknown lands of Turkey.

We always tail for new places for new routes and for new adventures. We enjoy a lot discovering the new landscapes and new worlds for you and share out this experience with you.

Incentives & Events
In incentive we have the pride for organising the biggest company event in Mediterrian cost area (south of Turkey). Until now some of the companies which chosen to work with us are: 'Bayer, Dresdner Bank, Nokia, Mercedes and Time group.

Our Team
We like to intruduce our team members to you so you can know whom will be prepairing these tours for you and whom will be guiding to you. We believe to learn about your guide before tour starts is very important because during all tour, our guides will be making desicions for your comfort or solving any problem you come across and they will be representing our company.

With this responsibility we are very attentive about how we chose our team members. We overrate their personal and professional improvement and even they have experience we provide training programs for them and repeating this programs regularly.

Equipment
The transfer vehicle we use for transfers during the tours, or equipment ve provide to you are chosen with care and we chose the best ones. Because we know they are very important for your safety and comfort. We also maintain these equipment regulary and re-new them when it is necessary.
